yeah its supposed to be olive drab but actually is a lot lighter and i'd say it was close to a NATO green

i like the colour as it happens but i'll eat my hat if its a british army shade as intended!

Well helloooo all,

I've neglected you all lately and im soo sorry but everything has been up i the air and the Hornet hasnt had much attention in recent months. She is sat on axle stands outside the house as the summer is taken up by other rides lol.

However, this weekend I did change the oil seal on the hub and regrease the bearings and it was nice to just gently plod through the job with no need to think too much.

Rear bumper is off so I can mount the NATO hitch and workk out some other issues with a wheel carrier etc and I have some spots to fit as well once I make an A Bar.

Will update as and when I make changes so keep an eye out and be good..........

That's fantastic!!, Thanks for the photos, Its an inspiration to us all, who are just starting out stripping down our Discos.

hi mate

the rear bumper was custom made. i know a lad in wigan who does bumpers and sliders as a sideline. he does a fabulous job and comes up with some very novel ideas.

will pm his info.

outside is a bit of a bummer esp with winter coming.

will the car not fit in the garage if the garage was emptied? it will be a major help to have it inside, then you can leave it as is and come back to it next day no worries.

cheers :)
