My discovery 2 ( 03 with 121k miles) has started dropping at the back (both sides) with a hissing sound. It pretty much happens everytime I attach a trailer but now this also has started it when not hitched sometimes.

If I leave it running stationary it remains down until I drive for a short while.

I previously replaced an air bag on the drivers side when it used to drop on that side and had no issues for about two years.

Thanks

Niall

U have to take it step by step and locate the fault first...for that next time before u attach the trailer(with car on normal level) take out F11(30A) from engine bay fusebox.....if it'll drop this way too make sure where the hissing is coming from....by the way does it drop all the way down or just partly?

As a matter of fact it was a mistake to replace just one bag.......it's recommended to replace hem in pairs

Thanks Sierrafery,

Good point about how far it drops, I seemed to go down to the bump stops but I'll double check. What does the 30A fuse (F11) Control?

Why should I have replaced both bags? I thought that they were independent?
