Hi everyone...New to the site but had the Disco for 7 years now and the newness is wearing off, so need some advice!
The latest problem is the rear prop shaft coupling, basically like a donut with 6 holes that joins the prop to the diff. This has disintegrated 3 times in the last 12 months and I am at a dead end......Just ordered another but would like to know if there is an underlying problem.
A mechanic fitted the last 2 and did not identify any causes for this problem?
Can anybody help?????:

If they are installed incorrectly they will wear very quickly. There are arrows in the rubber moulding as a guide.

Also only buy GKN (OE) doughnuts.

Tell your mechanic to stop buying the doughnuts from Greggs :D
