Discovery 2002 - Odd noise - advice please

HI - have just purchased my first Land rover and love it, however i have a noise coming from the front 0f the car, and can not work it out
i have a 2002 v8 discovery with facelift, the noise comes at low revs up to 2000rpm, it kind of sounds like a power steering pump noise when it has no fliud in it, how i know it not a power steering pump because i had it changed and the noise is still there.
the noise is more noticable ( almost like a whinging ) on left hand bends and right hand bends and low speeds

but if you put the car on full lock when standing still there is no noise of any kind....
not sure if its suspension related.. have looked on the forums but not found anything quite like my fault... any suggestions would be great

Hi....Check both sets of fluid (steering/ace)....might be air in the system...

Check tyres arn't rubbing?!

what other system did you suggest? no rubbing on the tyres

Does it do it when you lift the clutch up to pull away? like a drive belt slipping?

its an auto - there are no belts slipping,
its like a power steering pump sound with no fluid in it - but its not that

when your not moving no noise.....
read it could be a ACE Pump packing up? that likley?
