Hello all :)

I am now the proud owner of a Discovery 2 V8 and could do with a bit of advice please.

The previous owner converted the rear end to coil springs and i want to change them back to Air Springs.

Everything associated with the air system seems to be intact so i thought a could just pop some new airbags on and weyhey.

Would it be that simple? What problems could i encounter?

Any advice greatly appreciated!!

you have to get some one to plug in and switch it back to air ,and fix reason why he but coils on ,unless he just wanted better ride

Better ride is very subjective.

I guess he may have swapped because he thought coils was a better ride as opposed to coils give a better ride full stop.

I went back to air because I always have a lot in the back or tow. So the self levelling is great. Even when I have it empty I like the ride on air though to be honest.

If you in Bristol I'll happily plug you in and enable air mode.

I was wondering whether or not the setting has been changed to "Spring"?
what sort of warning lights would if be getting if it's not been changed?

Reason i ask is because i'm hearing "Air" noises under the car, is that normal?

I'm not getting any warning lights at the moment.

Confuzzled
