Hiya have at the moment a 2" lift on my Disco and it is great, running 235/85/R16 BFG Muds, and have just brought for a bargin!!!:D 4 Grizzly Claw 33" Tyres and springs and shocks with spacers, now they were from a recovery yard and they have no idea what size they are and neither do I. I can look up the shocks because they are stamped and the tyres and spacers are fine. But how type the hell do you know what size or type of shocks you have? Is there any easy way to tell or am I missing something?:doh::doh: Can anyone help?????? Thanks in advance.

I was thinking exactly the same thing the other night while the disco was on the ramps. Same scene...2" lift etc... Except I haven't got any bargain BFGs :(

But measuring them??? the springs are 420 mm but what size is standard but where does it say what lenght spring, means what lift and that dosn't help, in if they are heavy duty or not?

if you look around theres uite a few spring hieght comparrison guides but your not necessarily going find exactly what spring it is ,what colour was it or if black it would have had colour stripes on one coil

dunno if this heps???
