Disco Side Steps - Broken 83cm bolt - help

Hi, I have been trying to fit side steps to my 2000 Disco TD5 and managed to break one of the 83mm hex bolts that hold the assembly in place. Any ideas where I can get a replacement bolt?

exactly same happened to me, I couldn't find anything suitable either. I got the local farmer to cut the end off and weld me a bolt the same size an thread on the end and then ground the edges to match...proper job

. got more confidence in that one than the others now

I have a set if sidesteps I was going to list on eBay but can't because I had to take an angle grinder to these bolts to remove them. Does anybody know the size of the thread at
Both ends so I can try to source replacements?
