hi i need to take the front seat out of my disco but cant seem to get to the bolts the seat wont go back far enough to revile the bolts and it dosent go roward enough to revile the rear bolts help please as my seat has sagged in the middle and need to fix it :(

two bolts at the front on the seat rail 13mm i think, and two torx heads on the back of the rail, just slide the seat back and fore.

remember the seat belt also

its a 94 disco 1

Not sure if that'll work on a '94 one.

What you said is the same as my '98 Disco but I think pre '96 ones are different. The seat belt mounts are for sure, they are attached at the base of the b pillar for the seat belt and the cubby box for the receiver. I don't know about the actual seat bolts.

Ive just had the interior out of my 94 300Tdi, this was what I had to do.

For bolting the seat base to the floor, there are two bolts that thread into captive nuts, they are the two in the middle of the car, the two on the outside next to the sill, they are 10mm headed bolts with a 13mm nut underneath the floor. The seatbelt is bolted to the transmission tunnel so you can remove the seat/base by only removing the 4 bolts.

the bases are fitted to the seat with torx head bolts, one in each corner, you need to do a bit of sliding with the seat to get at them.

if its a sagging seat issue why not just fix the membrane, think it can be done without removing the seat. The seat material is only clipped onto the frame and comes away easily enough allowing you to get to the problem.

Ive also got a 'sagging bottom' and I've tried on my 98, 3 door to remove the actual seat - not the lower frame - and either it's stuck or someone's superglued it on. . Any ideas?
