Got a problem with the lights, there is a ticking noise coming from behind the glove box on the passenger side and the l/s front light is flickering, any ideas ?

Its a 1994 300 tdi

Renew the 3 pin plug on the back of the headlight

I would have said its the headlamp load relay (black outer) but the manwell says that is on the drivers side

Ok thanks, will have a look and check them, just noticed the r/h side dipped beam has gone out but works on full beam and flickering stops.

Try changing the bulbs.

When one of my bulbs blows, then when I switch on the side lights then there is a constant clicking and the lights flash.

Sorted, the bulb had gone, put a new one in, ticking stopped and lights ok.
