Can anyone help i have a 55 plate disco and there is a clunk on back suspension it is not noticeable on speed bumps but if you r on a ruff road it bangs and clangs i have had it in 3 garges now and they replace bits and tell me its solved but it isnt and its getting worse
Any advice please

Bushes. Just need to rectify which ones.....has it got high milage, and towed much?
Could check exhaust bracket. But my guess is bushes, theirs so many on disco it's all about finding the culprit.
Oh yeah check the heat shields.
 
hi mate it has 49000 on clock last time i had it in they changed the bottom arms and charged me 800 squid 4 the privalege (toss bags) LOL
cheers 4 advise will try to find the bushes my self
any advise on doing this
 
Did you not go out for a test drive with someone from the garage before you payed the bill?

Jack her up to take the weight off the wheels, and use a metal bar to pry in between the bushes to see if there is excess movement in the bushes. As for anything loose, it's all about just being inquisitive and shaking things about to rectify any movement & noise. Good luck let us know how you get on.
