disco 2 td5 / v8 chasis replacements

Hi all just thought to let everyone know found a place that does replacement chassis for disco td5.Well impressed until I received quote for £ 1800 + vat. But good to know that people are making them.

No, that's just the chassis. But normally they are galvanised so should last 'forever'.

Series chassis changes would hold no fear for me.. but how long would it take to swap a disco td5 chassis? I would have though the work was immense.. would the thing have to be dismantled panel by panel, or could the body come off in one hit?

The body can be lifted off, not a small job but has been done.
