Disco 2

Hi new on here, I recently bought a dog guard for my TD5 Disco 2, it is too long & high, seller said it was from a 98 R 300 TDI series 2, do they exsist ?...........regards.....H

Hmmmm.....and hi.

Some people think the 300 tdi was a series 2 as it was the facelifted model of the orgional (friends of mine who don't own landrovers and still aren't sure if my Discovery 2 (which is the third face of discovery) is a Range Rover!!!) so the car you have will not fit a guard for a 200tdi (first version) or a 300tdi (second version) i don't think.........Your truck is like mine (Reversing lights in the rear light cluster or the bumper?) and will need a guard for a Discovery 2.....unless you can modify the one you have to fit securely.
