Morning all,
I have a couple of small issues that I need to sort out before I send my D1 off for its MOT.
First, I have a bit of an issue with the indicators. Its an odd one. All of the indicators flash as as though there is a bulb out (really quick), but there isn't. When you flick the indicator on the trailer light comes on for a second but then goes off and the indicators go ten to the dozen. As soon as I plug the trailerboard in they work as they should. It does this on both sides.
I will add that I had the tow electrics off the tow bar and have had to wire them back up. I had taken pictures before I removed the wires from the plug and have put them back in the right place.
The other problem is my headlights. The sidelights switch on, the flash/full beam works, but the normal headlights dont. Im thinking this could be the indicator stalk as they have worked properly once in what must have been 50 tests. There is a slightly concerning buzzing noise from inside the cabin when the full beams are pulled on, which points towards a relay. How can I test these?
Any help would be massively appreciated and then hopefully I can shove it in for its test this week.
