Hi all. Am I right in thinking that a diff lock linkage will allow me to connect up the lock on my 98 TD5?
If I can, how much are the linkages going for and are there any extra brackets needed?
Cheers.

you will have to check t/box, as they all dont have internals and some dont even have the drillings for them dont you have traction control

Yeah, I have traction control, but I'm wanting to start taking it into the muck and anything that will help it keep rolling will be appreciated as putting a winch on will have to wait a while due to cost unfortunately.

Very handy! I'll get in touch with the local breakers and see if I can get a linkage off a 300tdi for now trying to get it prep'd for the least cost involved as my house appears to be a hell of a lot more crappy than we expected when we bought it.
Thanks for the advice, oh and the early comment! I suppose every owners forum has to have the odd male chicken! :)

If you check your transfer box for the serial number - those starting with 41D and 42D already have the diff lock mechanism in - otherwise you have to buy the kit from Ashcroft Transmissions to put in there.
