i seem to have a drop of diesel dropping down frop the starter motor area
any ideas on why or what could cause this
its a 53 plate td5

deffo the fuel pressure regulator get 1 from landrover though a bit more expensive but better quality.

I concur with my fellow members... have the same problem at the moment, are you finding your using more fuel at the mo....

Cost of part £90 - £120 depends where U go and make sure you have your chassis number handy as you could end up getting the wrong one.....

If you cant be arsed to follow Urbans guide, youve got fat fingers and a screwed back like me or you havnt got the right tools or not confidant at the repair...expect to get a
2 hour labour charge.... should be about £70 - £100 for a decent LR specialist.... as for main line dealer, my advice...take a mortage out...lol an easy £300 for the above job

Just wondering if its neccesary to replace the whole FPR. Logically can't see why anything could leak other than the "o" rings. Guy selling an "o" ring repair kit on ebay for £7.00 inc. Worth a try surely ?

Just replace all the o rings in the fpr, a guy from the disco owners club has made a kit up on eBay for £5, and the fpr gasket is only £1.70 from any landy stealers :0)

Hi MR Shuffles, take a couple of pictures, I have to do mine and happy for you to be the test case. Tommo

HI Guys,
I THink I have hhis as I noticed this week that we have got through a hsed load of diesel and when I went under the car today noticed we are leaking. It seems to be coming from the FPR. Is it worth just changing the gasket and O rings forst or bite the bullet and get the unit? Could do without spending at the mo though?
Thanks
