Changed my auto box fluid and transfer box oil today along with a normal service and I noticed this

Now I did the OS wheel bearing a couple of weeks back and I topped up the grease in both front swivel joints with One shot grease, they dont appear to have any drain plugs so I just put half in each one for good measure.

So have i caused this by having too much grease in there?

Cheers for the replies guys, I was thinking I had F***ed up and had a major job on my hands for the weekend.

Feel a lot happier now :D

If, you are loooking for something to do then you can remove the muck around the seal with something like a lolly stick :)

Theres still plenty to do have no doubts on that one!!

Fair bit of welding for the MOT in Sept, i could just plate it but going to put in 2 new rear arches and fabricate new bottom sections for both A posts as they are holed, plus bits on both cills at the rear require attention, rust around the alpine window on the NS and no doubt more rust will reveal it self as I strip it down to do the work required.

New suspension all round, been looking at that recently and the choice is mind boggling, front NS shock is leaking so prob next job on my list will be the suspension.

Not to mention that the electric seats packed up this week, then the leaking and very rattly sunroofs, they drive me crackers when open as they sound like they are falling off.

No doubt the list will go on. I took this photo last night and I am so in love with this motor, I want to keep it forever :D
