D2 front valance removal

As above, anyone taken off/replaced ?

Had an altercation with a ford fiesta, see's numpty coming towards me, pulls in and stops, numpty losses control, slides across road straight into front valance. Numpty's car bounces off Disco and lands 6 foot in front of me

Damage to fiesta, nil. Damage to my D2, split valance plus holes on drivers side.

Can be repaired but need to remove first, any info regarding removal appreciated, thanks

aint removal proc in Rave?

Should be I'll have a look when i get home and see the procedure as i've got to do mine

offroading came to a bank to come out of the muddy water judge it wrong
cracked the front valence pushed that mesh bit back bit between fog lights and push the drivers side fog light back so gotta straighten that out

Here Goes
1 Remove 14 screws securing the LH & RH wheel arch liner extensions to wheel arch liners and bumper valence and remove extencions
if on 03 my there are 18 screws

2 Disconnect multiplugs from Fog Lamps
3 Remove 2 nuts securing bumper valance side mountings to body
(looking at side of car 1 bolt topof bumper where it locate under the wheel arch extensions plastic in the pointy bit)

4 Remove 4 nuts securing the bumper to Crush Cans and remove bumper from body

5 Remove 3 screws securing bunper to front cross bar

6 Models with Headlamp washer Position container to collect screen washer fluid and disconnect hose from headlight washer pump

To refit revesal

Torqu 13nm Nuts in to Crush cans
13nm Bumper to side mountings

Job Done
