custom roof rack? safety devices rep?

Does anyone know of any companys/private people that will make me me a replica sd roof rack for my discovery2? i have money waiting to buy,

as it seems near on impossible to find a safety devices one? or even a replica of the sd one.

if you know anyone with a sd roof rack or have one for sale let me know got money waiting, name your price?

Take some piccys and ya vehicle to any steel fabricators or welding place and get them to make you one. if they can do it cheap enough you could sell a few and make some dosh out it..

i suppose thats the last hope i got! i take it its made out of alluminum? does anyone know where i could get some dimensional drawings from?

I know an aluminium fabricator and his work is top notch but not cheap.

If it was made in steel I know other people that can help, but all will need drawings etc. It all comes from my coachbuilding background, I have made a lot of custom roof racks for vans over the years as part of my job.

I am in Kent so not a million miles away

There is a company called 'Landyrax' landyrax.com

They do pretty good ' SD reps'.... can have hi line/low line sunroofs etc etc made to order....

He did have some on ebay....haven't seen any for a while, send him a email.
A Friend has one on a D2 - Nice bit of kit

Yeah sounds good I'll get back to you but it's a Sd rack I'm after so that's the shape I'll be looking for!

Because I wasn't sure if mine was a SD copy or something else. I bought mine off a guy on ebay but its from the Landrax company in the link that robhew86 gave you.
