Default cruise control vacuum pump

Hi,

Quick question for yous knowledge-banks out there:

Will I be able to replace the broken vacuum-pump on my Disco 1 V8 with the vacuum pump of a Disco 2 V8?

Many thanks!

Default Re: cruise control vacuum pump

Hi All,

I new received a pump from a Disco 2 to replace the broken pump in my Disco 1 with. The old one had a plug with three wires, whereas the newer one uses a plug with 4 wires. Would you guys have any idea which one of the four I can skip? Or am I stuck here? (PS, I do have the newer plug, as the previous owner kindly send it along together with about 12 inches of wiring!

Thanks for any help!

Anthonio
