As my disco2 is coming along quite far now i want to remove the air compressor for the air suspension as it is now no longer needed! and never will be! i beleive it is now just there and is going to cause problems?

so how hard is it to remove the complete system and wiring?
and if you have any pictures that would help?

thanks again

you dont need to remove wiring lights can be extinguished by some on with test book or similar by changing spec to coil sprung ,hard ware is straight forward

be sure to disconnect height sensors etc or it can decide it is on air after bcem is programmed to coil

is it simply just un bolt that box cut the air lines and pull them through from the wheel arches?

thats what ive got in mind saves trying to drag the brass adapters through?

cheers for that but it doesnt show a detailed description of the removal of the compressor itsellf as i already have done the springs ages ago!

If it's anything like mine you'll find the "captive" nuts just turn in the plastic when you try to undo the bolts. I ended up having to take the compressor unit out of the frame and fit a new one in situ which was doable but very awkward.
