I'd say just the two lateral ones have bulbs fitted ... those from under the screen doesnt

The two lateral ones have a bulb each. The lower switches have one bulb that illuminates them all.

I think the one you need is JWH 100070 and it has a grey base.

The Climate Control on the Discovery II uses 3 types of bulb -

3 x JWH100060 light up the LCD

2 x 8510251 (Black Base) light up the Hot/Cold Buttons

1 x JWH100070 (Grey Base) lights up the buttons.

Left to Right: - JWH100060, 8510251, JWH100070, STC1878 (not used)

Talk about tempting fate
On the way home from the pub meet just noticed the drivers side temp rocker not lit.
Thanks for the Part numbers PaulMc

Thanks Paul , Rob,

I guess they are easy to replace,

Remove ashtray and coin holder by depressing spring clips. Remove cup holder, 3 screws per side. Reach up through and depress spring clips on either side of control panel. Unplug and remove. Split climate control panel. Unscrew circuit board as the bulbs are under it, being careful not to damage flat circuit board cable connector thingy (don't know what you call it). The bulb you need is bottom centre on a clear plastic light bar. Quarter turn and its out.
