Can you lock a D2 without setting the alarm?

The title speaks for itself.

I have a dog and a just purchased D2 2000 ADVENTURER and no manual.

Can you lock without the alarm on so the dog can sit in?

Am guessin the fookers wont try and nick it with me dog snarling at them!

has it got a key slot in the drivers door?

if so try that should actuate centrol locking without the alarm

Aye i think it has....can i fob it back open again after or will I have to use the key again as I read some pretty bad stuff when the thing gets confused.

Exactly the same thing happened to me.
Just lock the door with the key.

if its the same as my fender yeah if its got seperate lock and unlock buttons on the fob

Locking with the key will STILL set the alarm, although the ultrasonic movement detector will be isloated.
Use the fob to unlock and unset the alarm otherwise the operation of the central locking will activate the alarm.
