Hi All,

Ok so I have now been paid and need to spend money on a new clutch kit for my 200tdi 3 door.

I have picked a Borg & Beck clutch kit with a 2 year guarrantee along with a Heavy Duty fork kit from mailorder 4x4 for £78 plus VAT.

Is this a descent clutch to go for and is the company OK?

Would a Valeo HD clutch be a better option as its just £20 more expensive but no guarrantee.

Any help/comments are greatly appreciated.

:D

Good price for a B&B....good kit too.HD fork essential if you plan on a)keeping the truck, and b) driving it !

However,as has been shown here lots, its a straightforward job to make your fork HD if you can weld or have a mate who does.Bit of plate,2 welds.Jobs a good 'un.Dont like dropping gearboxes more than I can avoid !

replaced my clutch fork the other day,I was tempted to buy a standard one and weld a plate across but the difference in price was only about 3 quid so not worth it.

Have fun, it can be a bugger of a job.
