Bush tool

Can anyone recommend a good (and preferably reasonably priced) bush tool for use on the D2?

Unlike most Chinese stuff they are bloody expensive.

I thought you meant a tool to be used out in the bush.:doh::doh::doh:

Don't waste your money. I just finished replacing the rear lower link bushes on my Disco. I took the link arms to a friends garage and he tried pressing out the rear bushes with a press. Guess what he couldn't shift them! I ended up drilling out the rubber, then hammering out the inner sleeve, then hacksawing the outer sleeve and then removing it with a chisel. There is not a tool on the market that would have made the job easier! I replaced them with top quality Polybushes which don't need any tools to fit, just a little bit of grease and push them in.

When I did them on my transit I just burnt the old rubber out, cut the ring with a hacksaw and slipped the newen's in.

When slippling in the new (OEM not poly) bushes would using heat on the radius arm / panhard rod / other and popping the bish in a freezer remove the need for pressing them in?

no youd have to have it too hot and risk harming bush
