Hi, I have a 1997 300Tdi Auto. The brakes seem to work fine when first pressed however if I am sat at a junction holding the vehicle on the foot brake with the auto in 'D' the brake pedal slowly moves towards the floor.

Is this normal (this is my first Discovery)? or is is a sign of a problem with the master cylinder seals or servo?

Thanks for any advice

Tim

NO. Not correct. Probably a poor seal on master cylinder. Firstly check fluid level on master cylinder before driving anywhere. Then consider professional assistance or help from someone more experienced than yourself. If you`re asking this question you probably ain`t ready to tackle this by yourself.
