Thinking about doing a body lift on my disco but just wondering who's done it and how hard it is and if they have any advice??

Piece of ****, do a search loads of info on what's needed.
Only problem (if it's a D1) is rust!
You may end up having to a bit of fabrication if your body mounts are rusted to fook.
 
Hi its so I can stop my wheels from rubbing. I've done a bit of a search but different people have different opinions
 
you are going to need a bit of trimming for those boots.

camel cut on the rear arch and front bumper end cap trimming or removal to start and go from there.


EDIT: i know your against trimming but if you dont chances are you could end up damaging the panels anyway
 
ok I'll take your advice. The only thing I have against camel cutting the rear is cutting into the rear doors. Is there no other way around it?
 
Never done it myself so not 100% sure but I think you basically have two options;

1. Body lift and a little trimming of the arches
2. Loads of trimming of the arches, but no body lift; and possibly extended bump stops too.
