Hello everybody. I need some help please. The air con pump on my mates w reg td5 is making a dreadful screeching noise and he wants me to bypass it as I read on here that you can do it with a shorter belt I just need to know which one, the motor has no ACE but it does have a pulley under the a/c that looks like what they use to replace the ace but it is likely original. So, I think I need one for a non a/c non ace or a non a/c with ace to account for that pulley. A part number would be ideal. Thanks in advance.

That's excellent, thanks. Does anyone have a link to a diagram for fitting it? I've been looking at it and can't really tell how to run it. Apologies for my inability to search properly, my computer is in the shop and i'm going through all this on my old school phone and it is painful.
