Disco 2 back door leakin top left. Any ideas? Aye, and the rear sunroof as well, but ah no how to fix that, ah hope. Should there hav been a shower cap and flannel in the tool kit when ah bought it. Canny understand why ah love the bugger so much!!

Move the hinges in a bit & move the striker plate in too, - sorted mine.

Same - I had this leaking as well as the sunroofs :-(

But yeah, moved the striker plate and the plastic guide plate above it (mine is a disco2, dunno if a disco 1 has that too?) and it now takes a bit more effort to slam, but makes a satisfying 'clunk' noise when it is shut properly!

get some 'weatherseal' foam stripping from B&Q put that round the door edge to it presses against the rubber strip. Cured my leaks 100% from the rain

If you get in the back and shut the door, you,ll probably be able to see day light through the seal !.

Nah, the D1's tend to leak and rust through right at the top of the rear door's top right corner (on the body not the door).
