Auto to manual conversion tdi 300

Can anyone just point me in the right direction please ?

My auto is definitely fubar.

I have a box and box cross member, also on the list is a clutch (whilst the box is off makes sense) clutch master cylinder, clutch pedal assembly , slave cylinder I am hoping to not fit ? Also flywheel on the list to buy. Will I need a bell housing ?

i have done a few including edc ,all parts easily available 2nd hand just bolt on if edc you will have to attach crank sensor through fly wheel housing and drill 4 x hole 90 degree apart screw stud in and cut to fit sensor

Never heard of that for the sensor before good idea cheaper than another pump.

Have you been given a price for the repair of the box? Or is it the converter?

No idea what the exact problem is with it. Just leaps between 2nd and 3rd gear. Been on at the local specialist 4x4 for a full service including box filter and oil and fluids etc and no better. Will be happy to see the back of the auto to be honest anyways. Paid 100 for a box from a breaker which has been tested and has warranty so going with the conversion now.

is yours edc as will go well with the extra bhp,which ever will still need fly wheel housing ,flywheel bolts etc
