i know steering issues have been covered a fair bit, i just wanted to double check with folks before i go prodding around under the bonnet.
My steering probs dont seem to fall into any of the usual categories, so here goes....
there is play in the steering wheel, i can turn it from 12 o'clock to say 1 o'clock ish or 11 o'clock ish without anything being relayed to the wheels, happens when the engine if off too, seems to shake a bit when turning lock to lock at a standstill, not sure if thats normal or not tho, doesn't 'wonder' or anything on the road and still does the business on the rough stuff...
do i need to fettle around with the adjuster on the steering box?
anyone got any other theories?
