which alternator need help fast before 2pm!

my disco 2 td5 alternator has packed up! landrover want stupid money!

ive been told a britpart one is 157.50+vat but this vehicle is being turned into a off road/expedition vehicle therefore i want reliability.

or i found this on ebay what would you guys go for?

realistically, Alternators and starter motors suffer when going offroad - they dont like water, mud and grit. Personally I would go cheap and nasty, coz yu might be replacing it every 6 months anyway.

hello mate ive gone with the cheap one from ebay, i spoke to the guy and apparently its a realy high quality copy of the original denso one, and if it packs up in under 12months all you have to do is box it up send it back to them and they will send out a brand new one next day, with no quibbling!

you can get genuine denso one for £215 + vat from britpart or bearmach just looked it up

but like mhm said it is my offroad toy and it spends 70% of the time in mud and water, and if this ****s up ill jus jet wash it up an send it back!
