Hi
I have recently purchased a Discovery 2 which has BFG'S fitted. I have been running them as they are through the bad weather. However, I am going to be going on a pretty long motorway journey at the weekend, and would like to know what is the best tyre pressure for economy and comfort at motorway speed.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You dont say if its pre or post 2003, the tyre size, and whether you will be fully loaded or not- there is a difference in tyre pressure advice. Assuming 255/65/16

Up to 4 passengers and luggage:
pre 2003 - 1.9 bar (28) on the front and 2.6 bar (38) on the back
from 2003 - 2.1 bar on the front and 2.6 bar on the back
hope this helps,

Hi Matt, leaving aside tyre size and load etc I run ours at 32psi front and 36psi at the rear unless I'm towing.

The early cars were always advised by LR to run at 28 on the front which is too low in my book.
