No it's not - currently. But V5 is coming out any day now and that was one of the things that was planned for inclusion.

Check the Bearmach.co.uk website for more info.

Received my disc in the post today:D

It will also reset the adaptions as well , didn't know about the suspension though.

v4 will adjust the ride height of each side but it wont 'set' it

Andy

fireman andy, so, did you request this v5 disc from bearmach? as i would like to update my own hawkeye. if so, how much was it?
ta.
Hi
The disc is free but you need an update cable and mains adaptor , I spoke to the bearmach dealer in kent and they posted next day .
I have had problems installing though and they are going to send me another disc. if this one doesn,t work I'm going to send it to bearmach and they said they will update it for me.

Andy

Do you know if they've updated the document which tells you what the v5 Hawkeye software does? I can find the one on the bearmach site which tells you which features were added in software revisions v3 and v4. But nothing on v5?

Dont know , the original V5 discs that were sent out were no good , so they are re-doing them and then sending them out again so I cant tell you what all of the upgrades are.

I know that resetting adaptions for the fuelling was one and big lad says that suspension adjustment is another but thats it

Question - If I do want to adjust ride high, what system do I need to access? (considering changing to HD springs on front which will lift by 30cm - but have air oon rear)

You do it through the SLABS unit, but the diagnostic tool needs to be able to store new heights which not all do (as with Hawkeye currently)

You can raise or lower in stages both or individual sides, then when you happy you can store them.

Well I installed V5 today , as far as I can see the upgrades are to

reset adaptions on the ems
reset adaptions on the gearbox
Bleeding the brakes

as far as I can tell you still cannot reset the suspension. I can adjust height on either side but it doesn't store them.

It does say however that you can now programme ace suspension (mine's non ace) so I wonder if the suspension can be calibrated on ace models

Thats disappointing. They e-mailed me today (finally) to confirm that you can calibrate the suspension...

I have Hawkeye with V4 software and you can set the height of the air suspension units on Discovery 2. I have done it. It will not, however, turn my dash lights off. The system does maintain the height set and works perfectly in practice but, my dash lights are on and the raise feature via the dashboard switch will not work. It all worked fine before I used Hawkeye to fill my new airbags. It would seem that I still need testbook to get rid of the lights and allow the full user functions. I'm not that bothered because its all working on a daily need basis.

Tricky dicky could you give me quick run down on how you accomplished raising or lowering using hawkeye i have v4 thanks for any help

Engineer,

just had a look at my manual .pdf and I can't find the details but I'm pretty sure it's in the chassis section.

You will just need to scroll through the menus and find it. Mine is definitely V4 but I'm not sure which V4. I would have guessed if early V4 software didn't include the air suspension it would have been released as a new software version so I'm guessing all V4s have it. Mine does!

The software allows you to set a ride height for each rear unit. I think I set mine to 55 or 550?

Suffice to say my I was getting parts at my local Independent and was complaining that Hawkeye would not reset the Light on the dashboard. They said they thought it was low and generally used 55 ( or 550 ) on their wissy computer. So i reset it to 55 and it hasn't needed a thing since. Can't reset those dash lights though.

There aren't many sections to the discovery 2 hawkeye, You will find it. If you really get stuck though, post again and I'll hook mine up to try and find the section

Richard.

I have V5 and although I can change each side individually ( its measured in 'counts') It wont 'set' the height, unless i'm doing something wrong
the suspension is currently about 20 'counts' higher on the right than the left. I can play about and get them level but it wont save the settings. next time I start up and check it goes back to how it was?

Andy

I know that when I set mine if you went back and checked it was slightly different to the setting you had set. But not wildly so, like 53 not 55. The thing is though I can remember that the height settings needed some confirmation something like pressing the tick button not just scrolling through. My Hawkeye deffo did mine but I can't remember exactly how. I seem to remember though that when I did it the first time it hadn't remembered the setting and that I realised I hadn't keyed in the confirmation in the correct way. It will do it Andy. If you get stuck let me know though.

I still havent found a way to set my ride height cant find the route through hawkeye to the correct mode tried chassis doesent seem to be there so any help appreciated
