Hi all
Have just got a used ACE pump off fleabay and was looking at putting it in myself. Looking for some help with the following please.

1, How easy is it to put in (anything to avoid?) Not a mechanic but can use a spanner.
2, Do I need any special kind of gasket ? Are these readily availible?
3, Will I lose fluid from ACE tank and are these easy to refil / bleed?

Thanks in advance
Cheers Phill:)

The fitting procedure below(not the easyest one)...the bleeding is via dedcated tester(nanocom, hawkeye, etc)

The proceedure is exactly as sierrafery says, except I managed to fit mine without bleeding the ACE system. I clamped the hoses from the pump before removal. This limited the amount of air in the system. The ACE system will handle a degree of `self bleed' (eg when fitting ACE filter) and it managed to bleed out any air from the pump without problem. I've had no problems anyway.

Hope this helps.
