We have a 1999 Disco 2. The ABS light fails to illuminate on the dash when the ignition is turned on and there is no obvious cause for this. The ABS works fine. Any ideas what it could be as we are being driven mad?
Thanks

No, it's not the bulb. The light for the ABS is a led fixed into the circuit board. Bulbs and fuses were one of the first thing we checked.

If u are certain about the bulb then the simple way to check the ABS warning circuit is to unplug a sensor and go for a ride....if the TC and HDC illuminates and the ABS doesnt then it's something with the feed of it.....if no light will come on then it's a problem with the ABS warning output from the SLABS ECU. Be aware, if the 2 amigos;) will be on they might stay on even after u plug the sensor back and u'll need a reset.

Has it ever worked ?

Have you connected any diagnostic equipment recently ?

Have you been "into" the dash, its not unheard of that people "block / tape" over the ABS light because of 3 amigo's....
