Switched wipers on the other day...nothing.Checked at the fuses and found 20amp fuse blown...replaced and the next fuse blew immediately.A mate tried a 30amp fuse to see what happened and the wipers moved VERY slowly...and parked.I have removed fuse now.

There is a possibility (Not 100% on this) that I parked up and switched off the other night with the wipers running. The next morning I ran the engine for 30 mins. to clear screens. The wipers MAY have been on but frozen in place.Have I buggered the motor??

Local Land Rover shop tells me wiper motors no longer available for early Discos?

Paul.

U may be lucky so replace the 20amp fuse and see if they work.
When the wipers are frozen it's possable to burn out the motor but the "correct" fuse will usualy pop first.
Also the motor could be seized because of the lack of lubrication then you will have to remove it's cover plate and re-grease.
