96 disco airbags

Gday, could someone tell how the front airbags are activated on a 1996 Discovery please.

Haha, I could have told you that. What im after is how they are activated, is it an innertia switch or computer sensor type thing?

On the front of my chevy and ford pickups there is like a block about 6" back from the bumper by the frame rail about 3x3x1" thick with a couple of wires. Its the crash sensor makes contact and fires the air bag.Moving to brit land then i'll have defender.

So it should be something similar on yours
