95 Disco 300tdi stereo,interior lights,clock

Hi,
Sorry i havent searched the forums for my fault but Im currently on holiday in the disco and am sending this from my phone with barely any network coverage so this sentance has taken ablout an hour to write!!!

This morning went out to the disco and the stereo wasnt working,also the interior lights and clock. Everthing else is fine. I havent got any manuals or anything with me so i was hoping from some online help. I have checked all the fuses and they seem fine. You really have got to help as on friday I have a 3-4 hour drive back home with a nagging wife and teething 2 year old.....I need that stereo big time.

Possible bad earth
Have you looked at the earth points behind each footwell side panel?
Undo, clean and re-assemble

Try the upper satellite fuse box under the steering wheel fuse No6 20 amp.

Hi there,

I have exactly the same issue on my 300TDI - clock, radio and interior light all dead. I've checked every fuse I can think of (think it's #6 in the main section of the interior fuse box though, not the satellite?)

tedzee - how did you get it sorted? Driving me nuts and I'm off to France tomorrow!

I think you'll find it is fuse 6 in the satellite 2 box. In the handbook it states it is for the Trailer Auxiliary Socket or something similar but it's also for interior lights clock and radio.
