300tdi oil catch can installation

Hi guys I have just installed an oil catch can to my 300tdi discovery to try and stop my intercooler filling up with oil!!

The setup I have used is:

-I ran the pipe from the crankcase straight into the oil catch can
-Blocked the hole in the turbo intake pipe that the crankcase pipe originally went to.
-Then I have put a filter on the other hole/exit of the oil catch can

Is this the correct installation?

yes but oil is more likely to be coming from turbo ,the breather has cyclone and if your loosing much from there then bores rings worn
