how to change clutch on 95 300 tdi disco
First you need to take the body off, makes getting to the top bell housing bolts much easier.

Then take both axles off so you can get the prop shafts off.

Undo every nut and bolt you can find remove complete wiring loom lift engine and g/box off chassis as on unit.

pull gear box off of engine it ain't to heavy so should be able to do it on ya own.

Fit new clutch.

rebuild in opposit order to dismantling.

Should be done in a couple of months :D

Hope that helps if not........................

Oh and :welcome2: to looney zone :D

remove center console ,drill out rivets holding plate undo hand brake cable, attach engine crane through door to the bolt nearest the drivers side securing t/box to g/box with crane arm near roof ,take wieght ,remove cross member ,props, slave cylinder, exhaust down pipe etc lower transmission down until top bell housing bolts can be removed and before fan touches rad ,support front of engine with vehicle jack on panhard rod to front of sump, pull transmission away ,borrowing or hiring engine crane is the safest and easiest

Sorry noob couldn't resist :D the post above seems to be the normal way for DIY mechs, howerever i have my own garage with ramps and transmision jacks so is a lot easier for me, best of luck hope it all goes ok if you decide to takle it yourself :D
