300tdi bumper fogs

Evening,

I've just bought an ES valance as I want some fogs at the front. I've fitted it today and the fogs and checked that there was some wiring behind the headlights.

Problem is, the connector on the end of the fogs is white and are two pin and the one behind the headlights is a black 3 pin.

Can I chop both ends and just wire them together or are they connectors behind my headlights intended for something else?

The fog connections are white so if you u have a mismatch then they will have to be removed them.
