Firstly my immobiiser light comes on intermittently, ive learnt that if I turn on the ignition then wait 2 seconds or so for a little relay under the dash to click (this will be when the immobiliser decides if it wants to come on or not) WHILST CUPPING MY KEYFOB IN THE SAME HAND the light doesnt come on and everything is fine, if I dont cup it and leave it to dangle it may or may not play up.
And secondly to lock it I have to stand so close to the passenger door of my landy I may as well just put the key in which Ive heard is kind of normal but recently it just wasnt playing ball at all until I did the old top gear trick and put the fob to my head, it works great then but I feel a bit of a knobhead (I have to pretend im scratching my head if anyones looking lol)
Could it be: A: Crap battery in fob, B: Im somehow boosting the signal by holding it/pressing it to my head C: Magic or D: Something else?
PS I know how mental this sounds but please bear in mind I did buy a Landy
