HELP ME PLEASE IT'S COLD OUT

the fob is knackered but i've managed to do the door code so now it starts .......... thanks for your assistance
indie.......

mine did this this morning, tried it a few times just a click, left it 5 mins with ignition on and then turned over leaving heater plugs on longer and it fired up.

my fob had come off in my pocket earlier and wouldnt start with a red car light with key inside it flashing, took me a while to figure the fob needs to be near the ignition to start.

gonna get the immobiliser bypassed and get a aftermarket one fitted, with a multilock on the gearbox as well...........

what a big load of bollocks , do you work for landrover then ??
take it to a main dealer i think for about £120 you can have a new fob and get it re sync,ed far easier and be cheaper then fitting a after market peice of **** :D

the rover fobs are renowned for being dodgy so gonna ditch it and be rid of the worry.... thanks for you clourful interjecting mate ............

Neigh borha as the scotts say, have just sent my original fob off to remotekey for reconditioning.
Cost 40squid hopefully will mean I can use immobiliser and lock unlock via fob when it comes back..
