Well who woul do bloomin thought it - now I have some 50mm Flexi arches on the way - been looking for some 16x8 modulars with a -35 offset for the 265/70/16 BFG A/T's I have so I can actually get my turning circle back - and no one seems to have them.

4x4 Tyres where my first hope - but they only have 3 in stock!!

16" x 8" Black Modular Discovery 1 Steel Wheel (-35 offset)

They set the bench mark with a tidy price of £156.00 delivered - everyone else is just sill money

Does anyone else know of a decent place to get some ngative offset ones from - they all seem to either be positive or zero offsets....

Whilst I am at it....don't suppose anyone wants any nice 16" cyclone alloys to help offset my costs....they are in a nice 2 tone silver and blackwith no dings dents etc ;)

I got the very same set of wheels from the very same people.
You need to ring them up and get your name on the reservation list, then as soon as they come in they call you and you arrange collection/delivery accordingly.

I had to wait a month and then collected in person. :)

Cheers bud, will give them a call and do that. And that's the pic I printed out and wrote all the details on to get the modulars...one handsome disco you have there ;)

Found him but cant contact as not a member of Facebook and refuse to be too....don't suppose anyone has a contact number or email for this guy?

Thought I would ask here insted of starting yet another wheel tyre thread.
Dose anyone know if 235-85-16 would fit on to 8" wide mods with a -35 off set?
I don't really want to go changing my tyres since there's nearly new but want the look of the 8" and the ability to use full lock again.

All i can say is when i told them my tyre size - 265/70/16 i was told the 16x8's would be ok for me, so not sure on a smaller tread, sorry.

But will double check again before i order with the previous comment via mark about 265/75 size as mine are only 265/70's

Theyre on ebay, i have them in my watch list ready for payday

Do you have the item number?

I also know that feeling....thing is something always happens at that pay day time, and it then rolls over to next month....then the next month and so on....:(

Thinking about it, I think it's only the 265 bit that's important for the width of the tyre to stretch across the wheel. I don't see how the height of the side wall would affect it.

That is correct the three digit number is the tyre width.
If it's going to be to much of a stretch I will go to 7" but still want a deep off set, just don't know if that's possible on a 7" wheel:scratching_chin:

Have now been told that my 265 tyres will fit on either a 7 or 8 inch rim - so have a bit of choice now although they still recommend the 8" ones as the 7's will bring in the tyres too much - but still can't find any -35 offset ones :(

Can I use the wheel nuts I already have fitted, or do I need new nuts for the modulars?

You'll need specific steel wheel nuts, as they sit against the wheel completely differently to the way the flat bottomed alloy wheel nuts do.

Steel ones have more of a cone finish to them where they sit against the wheel.

Cheers Mark, will have a look at the nuts i curently have on to see if they are cone finished.

Whilst i'm posting......will bump

Looks like I will need to get new ones for the modulars as these are as flat as can be
