Buyers market, only worth what someone will pay. In this case I would start at £8k and walk away at £9k. This is a bad time of the year to be selling a car, the seller would be foolish to refuse £9k. Just my opinion but there's so many sellers chasing very few buyers.

When i was looking in Febuary this year my car cost £8999 and its an 03 se. At that time there were a few 04`s about and the going price in this area was £14000, with an average of 65 to 75000 miles on the clock. At that time we were in the hard winter and prices had gone up a bit, now were looking at another hard winter so prices are going to be on the high side again for 4x4`s.
At the end of the day its your money, what do you think about it?

I have looked at loads d2 and d3 all on 04 /05 Reg all the 3's are high mileage and very basic specs they are all £11000 I looked at 2 d2 Es specs at different garages both are 11k

Some really hopeful prices posted here............an £11k D3 is going to have a LOT of miles on it, and more than likely be a base spec. Mileage plays a big factor in used car prices on any make or model, yes a D3 will do lots of miles, but you have to consider potential problems / repairs with a vehicle with over 100k on it.

I very much doubt you will get an 04 D2 ES with 70k or less milage for under £9500. If you do see one, buy it.
