wow....

at the unit where im doing the engine swap,pete is making an offroader for a manager of a haulage company and it seems money is no object..

disco 2 chassis,£4.5k suspension,£5k front gigglepin winch,rear superwinch and a centre winch..

its gonna take him another 4 months to get this motor upto the spec of what the guy wants but it is seriously nice..








and inbetween hes building himself one aswelll

want that one.

from the first pic i was wondering why the hell they bothered to even put a bonnet on it!

If money wasn't an object, why stick it on a 2nd hand disco chassis?

all the rest will have body panels on it,would look stoopid without a bonnet:doh:

because the engine looks completely exposed apart from it and it is the only bit of bodywork on the vehicle!

looks like it would go hunting bears after off roading lol

As a built off roader, why would the docs etc matter? I could understand if you were going to sell it on so keep the docs/frame, but as an offroad toy, new frames are a doddle to register ( on bikes at least ) on Q plates.

What's the engine got to do with the docs anyway

errrmmm its only half way thru the build and body panels havent been made yet

because the engine came with it,it was a complete disco 2..it will be used onroad aswell,he didnt want a q plate...

is that a North Off Road frame??

the guy who does work for me has one of them on a D2 chassis...lush!

nope..everything has been bent welded and made completely from scratch by pete

I see, with the skills he has judging by the frame work it would be nice to see a chassis built by him from scratch too
