Uprating lt85??

Hi

(First bit aimed at fanatic)I see many moons ago thy rebuilt an lt85

How did it turn out??is it still alive?

I ask as my ashcroft rebuilt 85 is on its last innings,5th gear on its way.and its only done sub 10k miles..

Now i have another rebuilt one..but after i took it back 3 times i gave up with it and went to adhcroft..its not been used since last rebuild
I am thinking use that as a base to upgrade bearings
Ashcroft will not rebuild their one any bettet than last time so am wondering about fitting taper roller bearings
