Step 1 gather together A Hi lift Jack and a couple of tyre levers (the longer the better)

Step 2 Deflate tyre using the Amazing Pikey instadeflator(tm). or a similar tool. NB: if you want to reuse the tyres then I suggest you deflate the tyre by removing the tyre valve or use a small screwdriver to hold the valve down until the funny hissing noise stops. :)

Step 3 position wheel under front of vehicle.
Step 4 chock rear wheels and place vehicle in gear with handbrake on.
Step 5 position High Lift Jack on tyre and under front chassis leg

Step 6 start to raise vehicle ensuring base of Jack doesn't foul on the wheel rim. and keep jacking it up until the bead breaks on the tyre.

Step 7 turn tyre over and repeat steps 3 to 6.

Step 8 Use tyre levers to remove the tyre from the rim starting with the Tyre valve facing upwards. I find that moving the lever round in small sections is easier than trying to drag huge sections of the tyre over the rim in 1 go. Also ensure that the tyre on the opposite side to the lever, is pressed down into the centre of the rim and you'll find it much easier to get the tyre over the rim.

Step 9 Turn tyre over and repeat step 8. This time keep the tyre on the ground and lever the rim up and over the tyre bead.

Step 10 collect wheel number 2 and repeat steps 1 to 9. Repeat step 10 until all the tyres have been removed from the rims.

Tune in later (Much Later) for a step by step guide to fitting a tyre to a rim.

Nice one Redhand, I just did mine on my shiny new wheels I painted so far one done, but the second I found that the remold has destroyed itself internally. Its the first one and yes I admit it is my first Bronco tyre that has gone bad! Doh Anyone wanna sell a grizzly claw 235 85 16??? Jai

:5bcheers2:Good idea red I want to sand and paint my wheels but will wait untill you show us the easy way to get them back on

I know a super awsum trick for re-beading tyres, which i have used very sucsessfully!!! :D

I removed the tyre as described above.

To re-fit, get the tyre on the rim, then rest it lieing down, get a compressor pump on hand. Now, using some flamible spray, prefrably wet start or light fluid (i used Lynx as it was all i had, it worked!), spray it all round the inside, and light it. POW! Explosion puts tyre on rim, you will need to get the compressor on it quick as it sucks in again as the gasses cool.

Super easy and good fun! :D

I will not be held responsable when you kill yourselfs/somone else trying this.

I need to do my spair tyre soon, will video this trick if your interested.

yeah i would do it using easy start , its quite fookin explosive? am up for it? like yer say yer need the air line on rather quick :D might try it this week , take some pics too,

ere red, that looks earier than busting the beed with a hammer !

Sheesh......... all you need to do is attach the air line and bounce the wheel whilst the air is on, it'll catch one of the beads and bam!

Just use soapy water around the beading..... Job done! :D

It works if you know what you're doing but I'd only do it as a last resort.

Take the valve out and wind your compressor up.
Use soapy water as a lubricant and the tyre will seat with air alone.
This is all the tyre bays do. Its not hard.

However if you want to see a successful tyre mount using butane here you go.

Only thing wrong with this is the fact that the handle on his hi-lift is not secured in the upright position.
