Can anyone tell me if a Tdci seat box will fit my td5 defender, as all the td5 ones seem knackered.

knackered in what way? Not just the seatbox ends? You can easily replace those.

Oh right. I don't know that. Would these ends include the mounting points to the tub as these are pretty non existent too.

Sorry for the late reply, mate.
Yes, they have a section that folds on to the door strike plate and bolts to it. You can see the section I mean with the bolt holes to the right of this picture.

your seat box ends did you etch prime them before fitting ?

No, not at first. But even things that are good quality and solid start corrocorroding. So I whipped them off again, rubbed them down and etch primed etc. Get them well protected from the word go, mate.
