trying to change the discs and pads on my 110, but i can get no further than the hub drive member which i cant get off, i can spin it round after spraying half a can of wd40 at it but just cant pry it off, has anyone else encountered this problem and if so, how did you manage to get it off

cheers Col

Sorry, clicked send quickly ..

Should have added, it may not be exactly the same issue as yours, but you might be able to use a similar method to remove the hub. ;)

its very common on td5s ,you need to wack drive shaft with copper hammer or use lump of wood etc then prise out drive member and wedge then rehit till members coms off ,check splines on cv and drive member they both might need renewing and lubricating before refitting ,its the lack of lube that allows them to sieze

this is starting to do my head in!!!!!!! i have now officially declared war on this damn hub, current status is im losing the war lol

right tried all the above suggestions, but to no avail, im thinking of either tapping the drive member to try and get it out using equal pressure on bolts pushing on the back or a last resort is to try cutting it off, but wary of doing this incase i damage other parts and end up with a huge shopping list..

Any other suggestions from you guys, i tried the other side and its totally seized as well..
